Synopsis
Kondattam is a 1998 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by K. S. Ravikumar.
The film stars Arjun and Simran, and was released on 6 February 1998.
Raja, a rich fun-loving man, lives alone in a bungalow and owns a company where his friends Anand, Babu, and Siva work. Despite his wealth, Raja yearns for love and affection, often spending time with his friends' families.
A boat ride with his friends turns tragic after they die in an accident. Raja is heartbroken when his fiancée Lalitha blames him for the deaths of his friends. Feeling remorseful, he writes off his properties to their families.
Later, Raja receives news that Anand's wife has died after giving birth to a baby boy. He gives the baby to Anand's family, who ask him to stay with them temporarily.
