Synopsis
Kanavan Manaivi is a 1976 Indian Tamil-language film directed by A. Bhimsingh.
The movie stars R. Muthuraman and Jayalalithaa in the lead roles, alongside K. A. Thangavelu, Sachu, Srikanth Suruli Rajan, and V. S. Raghavan.
Chitra (Jayalalithaa), a wealthy girl, falls in love with Shankar (R. Muthuraman), an ordinary man who works at her company. When she discovers his identity, he rejects the relationship due to their differing statuses. However, Chitra cleverly proposes that they navigate this barrier by maintaining dual roles: worker and proprietor during work hours, and husband and wife in private life.
The soundtrack features music composed by V. Kumar with lyrics penned by Kannadasan and Vaali.
