Synopsis
Kadhale En Kadhale is a 2006 Tamil-language romance film directed by PC Shekhar in his directorial debut.
The film stars Naveen, Shrutha Keerthi, and Roma Asrani, with Ramakrishna, Chitra Shenoy, Avinash, Raviraj, Vijayalakshmi, and Jiju playing supporting roles.
The story revolves around Rajiv, a final-year student who falls in love with Pragathi, but also develops feelings for his family friend's daughter Krithika. After a series of events, Rajiv proposes to Pragathi, only to be rejected. He later marries Pragathi after she apologizes for her past behavior.
However, it is revealed that Krithika has been in love with Rajiv all along and is heartbroken when he marries Pragathi. The film ends with Pragathi sacrificing her own happiness for the sake of others.
The music was performed by Prayog, with cinematography by Vaidy S and editing by Suresh Urs. The film released on 4 August 2006 and won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Film Portraying Woman in Good Light.
