
Synopsis
Gopala Gopala is a 1996 Indian Tamil-language comedy drama film written and directed by Pandiarajan.
The film stars Pandiarajan and Khushbu, with music composed by Deva.
The story revolves around Gopalakrishnan, a clever cook from Coimbatore who moves to an apartment in Chennai and becomes popular among the women residents. However, their husbands are jealous of him. He falls in love with Usha and decides to marry her with the support of his neighbours.
After the marriage, Usha discovers that Gopalakrishnan was already married, but she remains unaware of the details due to her father's decision not to share them with her.
The film ran for 100 days and was remade in Malayalam as Mister Butler and in Telugu as Suprabhatam.
