Gnana Kuzhandhai is a 1979 Indian Tamil-language mythological film directed by K. Kameshwara Rao and written by Era Pazhanisamy.
The movie tells the story of Thirugnana Sambandar, one of the four great Shaiva saints (Nayanars) from Tamil Nadu, focusing on his divine birth in Sirkazhi and his subsequent spiritual achievements.
The narrative begins with the miraculous disappearance of an infant Sambandar from his cradle during a visit to a Shiva temple by his parents.
