Synopsis
Eesa is a 2009 Indian Tamil-language psychological thriller film directed by Thoothukudi M. Rajendran.
The film stars Vignesh as Sudaleeswaran aka Eesa, a young man who lives in a small hut with his wife Selvi (Lakshana). After killing a salt pan owner, Eesa continues to kill other salt pan owners and their partners, believing that he is avenging his wife's brutal murder.
Thanga Malai Annachi (also played by Thoothukudi M. Rajendran) is the local bigwig and owner of a salt pan where Eesa works. As Eesa's killing spree continues, Thanga Malai Annachi starts to kill all his enemies in retaliation.
The film explores the complex and troubled mind of Eesa, who believes that his wife Selvi is still alive after her murder. The story takes a dark turn as Eesa's actions become more violent and erratic.
