Annai Illam

Annai Illam is a 1963 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by P. Madhavan and produced by M. R. Santhanam.

The movie stars Sivaji Ganesan and Devika in its lead roles, alongside Paramasivam, his pregnant wife Gowri, and their first son Kumaresan.

Released on November 15, 1963, the film ran for 100 days in theatres.

The narrative follows Paramasivam, who abandons his family after being insulted by a shopkeeper and believing himself to be a murderer. He is later rescued by Rathnam, who deceives him about the fate of his wife and child, leading him to change his name and continue on with his innate goodness.
